Could you share with us your system configuration? The most well-tested Linux distro + gcc + C++ library is Ubuntu 14.04 + gcc 4.8.4 + libc++ . There are known issues on Ubuntu 16.04 with newer gcc + libc++. We are currently experimenting moving away from libc++ to libstdc++ to allow HCC compiler frontend and HCC runtime be more gcc-friendly.

I had no problems building 1.3.1, then I upgraded to Debian stretch repos. getting gcc 6.2.1 in the process, then I looked at the ticket about libc++1 and then upgraded to sid to get libc++1 3.9.

I have reverted back to Debian jessie and gcc 4.9, and have not seen this issue since.
