Wow, so i looked in to this, fun fact: just run this: SObjects::limits()
(after authenticating of course) - it will return all the API usage information you want. The docs you referenced refer to the limits
resource in the rest API of salesforce, and REST resource in SalesForce is available through the facade as its own name. So if the docs ever refer to a resource just tack it on the facade as a method and it should return something for you. like layouts
does. so SObjects::layouts()
returns stuff and so does SObjects::limits()
and several others.

Hmm. this would be a really cool feature, i'll have to look upstream though to see if Forrest has an opening to capture this information. Let me look in to it.
