Hi,
The solution is also similar to 37:
The version of Jinja you are using does not support, see requirements.txt.
from ansible-role-users.
Thanks, I've taken a closer look at the EE and run ansible -version
from it directly as a command in a playbook, it has has the following output.
{
"results.stdout": "ansible [core 2.11.6rc1.post0] \n config file = None\n configured module search path = ['/home/runner/.ansible/plugins/modules', '/usr/share/ansible/plugins/modules']\n ansible python module location = /usr/local/lib/python3.8/site-packages/ansible\n ansible collection location = /runner/requirements_collections:/home/runner/.ansible/collections:/usr/share/ansible/collections\n executable location = /usr/local/bin/ansible\n python version = 3.8.6 (default, Jan 29 2021, 17:38:16) [GCC 8.4.1 20200928 (Red Hat 8.4.1-1)]\n jinja version = 2.10.3\n libyaml = True",
"_ansible_verbose_always": true,
"_ansible_no_log": false,
"changed": false
}
So version 2.10.3.
You are correct, even with what seems to be a very up to date version of Ansible it seems AWX is sticking with an older version of Jinja.
I'll close out this issue and see if I can work out how to upgrade Jinja within the EE.
Cheers.
