Sorry you are experiencing this issue!

Unfortunately, I can't seem to replicate the issue.

Couple of things we could do to try and debug:

  • what other Autotag settings do you have turned on?
  • could you try disabling all other Roam Depot / [[roam/js]] plugins, refreshing the page, and see if you still experience the issue

These are the Roam Depot settings I currently have enabled. And I've also attached the settings I have for Auto Tag specifically.

Thanks @mdroidian for following up on this! Appreciate you jumping in

I disabled all other Roam Depot plugins I had temporarily and tried Unlink Finder to no avail.

I also did the good ol' fashioned uninstall & reinstall of Auto Tag to no avail.

Basically, I really love Unlink Finder and just want to use Unlink Finder specifically since sometimes auto-tagging works unintentionally with my workflow (and therefore it'd be more helpful to handpick the links as they come up in Unlink Finder than automatically tag them).

I use Aliases:: for many of my pages to define synonyms so I would love for Unlink Finder to work with that.

Interesting. With these settings I am still not able to reproduce the error.

Here are some additional things you could try:

  • do you have any extension enabled via [[roam/js]]? If so, disable those and reload.
  • create a new blank graph, just install Auto tag and remake that page (to try and see if there are CSS enhancements that are causing the conflict)
  • and finally, if you are using chrome/firefox, try disabling all extensions and reloading the graph

@nstebbins I had the same issue and it was caused by aliases without commas between them. For instance, if you don't have a comma between any these it won't work. One way to quickly determine if your Aliases page is the culprit is to temporarily rename it.
