We need to appropriately handle long filenames in the file selection dialog box and also in the visualization window.

For reference, the following code determines the width of a filename printed in a QLabel:

#!c++

QLabel* test_label = new QLabel("suppose_this_string_is_a_filename");
int w = test_label->fontMetrics().width(test_label->text());
qDebug() << "test width:" << w;

I just modified the file selection dialog box to allow more space for the filename. However, there will still be a problem if the user selects a file with a very long name.

I have not seen this issue in a long time. I assume it has been resolved at some point.
