Hi, thanks for reporting, do you know any way to reproduce this issue? do you have any numbers on the frequency of this crash? Also could you please give us the first 5 numbers of your API key?

Hi, thanks for your reply. 57 users got this error for now (it's a small percentage - 1% approx).
API_KEY beginning with AIzaS
GCM key beginning with 87616
SECRET beginning with ef5fc

Unfortunately, I don't :/ I tried a few times but the bug does not appear on my phones.
It could seem dumb, but can't you just add a check for this view in Chat.java ? To avoid findLastCompletelyVisibleItemPosition() to cause a nullPointerException?
Since it's appearing on less than 1% of our users, it could just avoid them to get a crash ^^
