maldet directory scan number of files is incorrect about linux-malware-detect HOT 3 CLOSED

Hello,

Can you try to empty all the files from the directories listed in you conf.maldet:

scan_tmpdir_paths="/tmp /var/tmp /dev/shm /var/fcgi_ipc"

Delete all files from these directories if you are able and see the number of files listed when you run the command again.

You can also empty out the tmpdir paths on command line such as:
maldet -co scan_tmpdir_paths="" -a /var/www/vhosts/xxxx.co.nz/httpdocs

I will look at making output a little more verbose to easily identify file scan counts relative to paths.

Sorry for the delayed response. I'm sure the scan_tmpdir_paths would explain it, I wasn't aware of that setting.

I've just tested with scan_tmpdir_paths = "" and the files count was correct.
