Maldet "command not found" about linux-malware-detect HOT 6 CLOSED

Are you sure you got the command 'ed' installed?

It should be in /bin/ed most likely.

Thank you. On Cloudlinux systems the "ed" package wasn't installed by default and I thought that this must be a bug or an error. Everything works great now.

@recoore Well, you are not giving a lot of details. I don't know what distro you are using so lets start with that. Your distro probably had packages for them.

For Debian based distro's: apt-get install ed
For Red Hat based distro's: yum install ed
