This tutorial is for 0.4.
Currently "high pass" can be emulated by creating "blur layer" in RGB and set 
it's blend mode to "add invert".

Great , was not so smart to think of it. Perhaps more not. Perhaps some thing 
to mention in the wiki as it works indeed very nice.
