Thanks for the report Falco- I'll take a look early next week and get this fixed; I agree that's just wrong.

Also, I'm currently rewriting restify, to better support streaming, clean up the API (especially around errors), and offer "free" dtrace support. It's not published, but in "alpha" level quality it's working - you can take a look at the v1.0 branch if you're interested (I know you've been using this for a while - thanks!). The "mainline" usage looks mostly like express, and there's (at least I think) more natural handling of various errors, parsing etc. Basically, the framework has less "hard coded" magic.
