@mikeal it looks like in general you release version x.x.0 to npm, then mark master as x.x.1? mind explaining your rationale for that versioning scheme?

@nylen ya, that's my default release scheme. Here's the rationale:

  • bump minor: I've done too many releases that we all thought were non-breaking but ended up breaking anyway.
  • bump patch to odd number: because then master is always an unpublished version, this has helped out a lot when debugging people who accidentally or intentionally relied on master.
