range/location support? about remark HOT 6 CLOSED

I’d certainly like to! There are of course some difficulties with the fact that mdast uses an AST but that obviously shouldn’t be too big a problem (as esprima, rework, also implement them). Something like this probably?

My usecase is azu/textlint which is linting utility for markdown.
It needs to gain location info for showing error line number.
(Currently, I have implemented location info object based on CommonMark's AST at textlint/position-node.js).

I've began work, but found that the initial setup (from marked), and the whitespace-sentsitive language, pose problems. It probably requires more work than expected.
