Also I am not able to perform read operations from slave/secondary node of redis cluster. I wanted to it for better performance. However I know it is not a good practice.

CommandsLoadBalancer won't help here since LPOP and BLPOP_VALUE commands are always executed on master. try to add more master nodes.

As far as I have read and understood, redis delayed queues are internally created as a sorted set and list. And the sorted set always lies on only one shard. So how will horizontal scaling ie, adding more shards/master nodes help here?
Or is there any other way to add more master nodes in a single shard only?
