This makes a lot of sense. Unfortunately changing the current system means changing quite a lot of code but I'll almost certainly do it. I'm not sure what should go in the context menu. gnome-terminal seems to throw in a bit of an ad-hoc mix and I don't want to copy it just because being an official GNOME component makes it some sort of gold standard.

I'm not sure what should go in the context menu.

It appears that only "Copy" and "Paste" from the Edit menu are relevant to the context. I'd start with that, and expand as other relevant functions get added to ROXterm (like a copy & paste combined option (see ticket 2780122)), or as users request.

I made up my mind what to have in the shortened menu and the latest svn now supports this. I haven't tested it very thoroughly, so please see if you can break it :).
