I don't know how easy that would be to implement with the standard option parser. How about as an alternative I provide an option to open a new terminal as a tab of an existing window (most recently used) if possible instead of a new window. Then, say this option was called --tab, you could do what you want with these 3 commands:

roxterm --title=minicom -e minicom -o -w
roxterm --tab -e ssh server.example.com
roxterm --tab

That would be awesome! Then I could just script all my required tabs to open with one command.

This is now implemented in the svn version. I'll close this bug once the next version is fully released, including debian packages.

The Debian maintainer seems to have gone to sleep, closing anyway.
