check your .yarnrc.yml file

it should contain nodeLinker: node-modules

eg.

nodeLinker: node-modules

yarnPath: .yarn/releases/yarn-3.6.4.cjs

from cli.

Hey @elite-mob, you should be using nodeLinker: node-modules, btw if you're running npx react-native@latest init abc it automatically bumps Yarn version per project so you don't need to run it manually before.

(nodeLinker: node-modules is a crucial option because React Native doesn't support PnP system, which is enabled by default for modern Yarn versions).

from cli.
