Installation/Compiling Error for Package with Rcpp dependency - Ubuntu (rvmf.cpp?) about rcpp HOT 5 CLOSED

Update - Reinstalling RcppArmadillo and RcppParallel and then trying again fixed the issue.

Sorry, busy morning so didn't get to this but what were the relevant versions? Great to know you're covered, the usual CRAN quality guarantee of "if it all works there..." still applies.

Uncertain what the original package versions of RcppParallel or RcppArmadillo were if they were updated, but they didn't show up as available updates. Had to ask RStudio to install them again using install.packages().

That doesn't rhyme as install.packages() and update.packages() and available.packages()` ... all use the same repository info as does RStudio GUI sitting on top of the same info. But I take it as the issue that matters is solved.
