It happens because you're styling your container with ID selector. Quicksand clones your container to calculate destination positions of the items. Because there cannot be more than one node with the same ID, the styling doesn't apply for the cloned container and its children.

Solution: use classes to style your container. Change id=applications to class=applications and in your CSS replace #applications with .applications. :)

Hey, i am having the same issue as you, I changed all the ID to classes, any thing else that you can recommend that will fix this issue?

Make sure you don't have any duplicate ids goetzs - I've just revisited this post because the problem had come back - but it was because i had set my code to write things out twice for testing.
