Interesting. I will take a look. In the extension configuration, did you select a download folder? This should automatically go to ~/Downloads. However, if that folder is absent and no folder is selected then that could be a problem. This error should be handled more gracefully in the next release

I didn’t select a folder, so it should go to downloads but I’ll check!

I can't seem to reproduce this at the moment. If you still experience this issue,
-
Verify that you have a
~/Downloadsfolder you can do this by typing~/Downloadsin your terminal. If it does not show any error then you have the downloads folder. If you don't, please select a download destination in your extension configuration -
Send a screen recording or screenshots if the problem persists.
Like I said earlier, in future releases, the absence of a ~/Downloads will be handled more gracefully and you should ideally be prompted to select a download destination.

Thanks. I did select the Downloads folder (and another folder, for testing) and the download failed error came up.
I do have a Downloads folder, but when I type it into Terminal, I get a permission denied error. Which is odd, because I'm the only person who's ever used my computer. It's not a work computer or anything like that. Why would that be?
Attached a screenshot of the error happening when I hit download or hit the shortcut.

I assume you are replying via email. Therefore, I cannot see the screenshot. I would appreciate if you could try sending it through github.
- One thing you should check is that raycast has download permission. To ensure this, go to
System Preferences->Security & Privacy->Files and Folders->Raycastand check thatDownloads Folderis checked. Let me know how it goes!
