Make sure you copy back the custom firmware after doing an upgrade :)

Looks like you might be using an old version of the vcsm libraries. This change converted the string const types to const char *.
Can you run through an update and you should get the latest headers/libraries.
sudo apt update && sudo apt dist-upgrade

Aha great, an easy fix. I worked around it with a cast so either way there's no blocker here.
