I can change it to a CTA button without the search bar, keep the alert with the servers not available right now on click message and whenever that external webpage is ready, make it redirect there.

There's an alternative that will depend on how the external webpage works, which is to keep the search bar, and send the tracking package through the link.

E.G. you write your package ID in the bar (something like 294K284), then you click search and it redirects to www.externalpage.com?package-id=294K284

That way the user writes the input in our webpage, and sends it to the external webpage as a link query so it can then be used to display the package information
