Hey @konrad-garus thank you for providing feedback!, this it's been already pointed to me regarding this bug #24.
I am already working on it and it will be included in the next release!.
EDIT: removed part of the message cause I noticed you can setup configuration properties per workspace using settings.json file in .vscode folder inside the workspace

just released 0.2.2, this should fix the problem for you.
now you have a new configuration property called angularKarmaTestExplorer.angularProjectRootPath.
basically once you re on your workspace just specify there the path of the folder of the angular app.
so lets say your path is workspace/angular-app and workspace/api
open workspace and just set that property to angular-app.
please let me know if there is something more that you would need
from angular-karma_test-explorer.
