Some other project I'm using is not fully integrated into windows, I guess, I will have to make it work under windows too now :) I will take a closer look over VTK lib.

I have never seen that error before.. It seems related to VTK... Could you copy-paste the conda list output so I can see which version you installed?

This happens under wsl2 ( ubuntu 18.04 ) in win11. Interestingly, this problem doesn't happen under the windows version of anaconda. ( same PC )

That definitely seems to be VTK related then. I would not be surprised that the libraries for visualisation are not fully integrated in WSL2... Is there a specific reason you want to use WSL2 instead of native Windows?
