should be resolved by the forthcoming 1.0 release (though actual fix lies in logilab-common, so be prepared to install new release of it as well)

Thanks Sylvain. Good to know. We found another similar problem today, though. Again we got a KeyError on an import, this time on 'collections'. There seems to be a bug in the function _search_zip(modpath, pic) in modutils.py. When it attempts to raise an ImportError it instead generates a NameError because the variable "file" (line 573) isn't defined in that context. Hopefully this one can also be fixed in the 1.0 release?
