Hi @amichuda, sorry for my delayed response and that I still haven't managed to look at your PR for the score bootstrap. I just got plenty of work in my day job and have spent a big chunk of my free time onboarding new contributors to pyfixest. Will try to take a look at it as soon as I find some free time!
The issue you encounter is likely due to the fact that fwildclusterboot
has been thrown off CRAN as a dependency broke some unit tests, and I still have not managed to assemble the willpower to get it back (releasing packages on CRAN is quite a pain).
So the only solution here is to push myself, to get the package back on CRAN :/

@s3alfisc No worries at all, I am no stranger to updating packages (Stata...).
What if the github actions were to be changed to use the github_install
function in devtools
:
https://cran.r-project.org/web/packages/githubinstall/vignettes/githubinstall.html
If that works for you, I can open a PR to that effect.

Hi, I just opened a PR (#109) that installs from R2U, which is an amazing project I use for pyfixest. The fwildclusterboot install seems to work (at least for now). R2U is amazing as it allows to install binaries, so the github action does not need to compile fwildclusterboot from scratch!
