Huh, cool stuff! I’ll take a look at it, and there’s a good chance something like it is implementable, although I can say right now that these libraries have different objectives.
This library aims to support hashing of any kind of input, including circular object structures, DOM XML objects, Node.js Buffers, etc.
Also, benlaurie’s implementation seems to perform a lot more hash operations per object, namely one per encountered value, whereas this implementation currently only hashes what is basically a string representation of the entire input.
That being said… I like the idea. I won’t make any promises, but I’ll look into it!

You could take a look at 'objecthash' which is a js implementation of the libraries you mention.
