- In order to see the options you must have both latest window title and window appmenu present in latest Latte git version
- The window title issue you must report at :https://github.com/psifidotos/applet-window-title/issues but try first with a new user in your system to try to replicate all these issues. Something tells me that you wont have any issues with a new user
- The crash is from Window AppMenu, only known crash is when different global menus exist in the system or when multiple ones.
3a. is that your only appmenu?
3b. have you removed all other global menus ? (plasma global menu OR awc, you can also check your latte layout file if you have any remaining ones)
3c. can you reproduce this is with a new user ?

- I had them at the time. I will also rebuild the new one soon.
- I will try a new user and report properly (I reported here in the sense they might have been related, the combination...)
3.a. I have dual-monitors, one top panel and one bottom dock on each. So two plasmoids in the profile, but on separate panels.
3b. Yes, unless some is hidden... I believe not, but I will look for some info. I wish I knew the proper way to discover those things.. I have not "mastered" Plasma ways yet..
3c. I will try soon and report back.

As I said, I do, though the new user tests were before applying today's changes.

The test with a new user was successful. I managed to achieve the autohide menu/title perfectly. It is amazing!!
I was paying attention to all the changes and in what sequence I made them. Tried to do the same with my normal user account and it was still impossible.
Before I login the new user (created in the past for similar tests...), I deleted the ~/.cache and Trolltech.conf.
I didn't need to logout to make it work.
On the normal user user, I tried the above, also changed layouts, copied the original layout templates from the system... nothing!!
It is frustrating to not know how the settings can be restored properly.
Any advice much welcome!...

I did to be clear.
I have several layouts, default and custom. Each has individual panels, applets.
I also have two monitors. My monitors have changed in the past months, meaning I don't use the same display setup. I have switched monitors, outputs, GPUs, Xorg config, monitor IDs (as seen in xrandr/Xorg log).
But I have stopped using plasma default panels some months ago, after switching totally to Latte eco-system. No Plasma account that I use have (visibly) Plasma panels. I don't know if they can hide that well in a ghost monitor of an old layout that I can not directly notice.
That's as far as I can supply my feedback.

Yes, visually. How can I notice an AWC or global menu in the (where exactly? .config/latte/?) latte layout file?

With the new user, I had the Latte apps working I had this error dump, which I don't know how it was produced. Trying to achieve the new features (auto-hide appmenu/wintitle) I first deleted the default plasma panel, I changed layouts, added the applets etc. When I checked the journal, ... (the user id is checked to be the one of the new user)

I am closing this because any remaining issues must be splited and be independent from each other...
