Incorrect require statement about protobuf.js HOT 2 CLOSED

You are right, there has been such a problem at some point, but this should already be fixed in the most recent version. Which version are you using?

The relevant part is

    if (typeof module != 'undefined' && module["exports"]) { // CommonJS
        module["exports"] = loadProtoBuf(require("bytebuffer"));

at the end while

            if (!ByteBuffer && typeof require == 'function') {
                ByteBuffer = require("ByteBuffer");
            }

at the top tries to resolve dependencies of AMD loaders. The statement at the top of the loadProtoBuf function isn't actually necessary imho, so, if there is a problem with browserify, could you try if just removing it solves the issue?
