So keep in mind that this text box is meant to take a time/date in the format "15/12/2014 18:25:21" (which the date picker produces). If you just enter "45h", it will be unable to parse that and just set the field to the current time. And that means that the silence expires (and thus is not visible anymore) right after creating it.

Agreed, it would be cool to be able to specify a relative time in the future though.

Ah, that's what happened. I'd assumed the time was that much from now.

You might have been tricked by the field's placeholder text saying "Ends At (default 1h from now)".

Fine to close this? Though I'd be open for PRs adding a nice way of specifying relative times :)
