Hi, I'm Praveen Pankajakshan 🙏

About

I am a researcher at Cropin leading the Cropin AI Labs. I also wear the hat of a faculty at AMMACHI Labs with Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham

Objective

In 2022, I realized that the only way to scale up 🌱 Natural Farming Techniques (including organic) and AgroForestry 🌳 is to open-source all the work in 🌾 Agriculture/Farming, Satellite Imaging 🛰️, Science 🔬 and Machine Learning 🧠.

I created these repositories GitHub GitHub with the intent that individuals and organizations can reproduce these methods and it gives them a good blue print for starting. I have done many mistakes and experiments in my farm Roc Tranquil and as a humanity we can learn from each other. We have a very short period of time and in this period, we don't have the luxury of making the same mistakes, especially with Nature. Please feel free to contribute (I can learn from you) or clone the repositories.

  1. Natural Farming
  2. Fluorescence Microscopy
  3. Satellite Imaging and ML Tutorial for Beginners
  4. Spatial-Spectral Classifier for HSI

Wherever possible, I have quoted and referenced the sources. Please email or message me in case you find any unreferenced sources.

Praveen Pankajakshan's Projects

ccdc icon ccdc

Algorithm developed for Continuous Change Detection and Classification (CCDC) of land cover using all available Landsat data.

cloud-shadow-masking icon cloud-shadow-masking

This is the code repository for IEEE IGARSS 2023 article on "Cirrus Cloud and Shadow Masking in Optical Satellite Using Deep Learning for Small Land Holding Farmer Plot.

enas-pytorch icon enas-pytorch

PyTorch implementation of "Efficient Neural Architecture Search via Parameters Sharing"

gan-for-tabular-data icon gan-for-tabular-data

We well know GANs for success in the realistic image generation. However, they can be applied in tabular data generation. We will review and examine some recent papers about tabular GANs in action.

hsi_jstar icon hsi_jstar

The codes that accompany the methodology submitted to the IEEE Journal of Selected Topics in Applied Earth Observations and Remote Sensing (JSTAR). This is provided for reproducibility.

humanactivityrecognition icon humanactivityrecognition

The repository contains the notebooks that were used to train the models which are added on the TENCON 2022 conference paper.

hybridsn icon hybridsn

A keras based implementation of Hybrid-Spectral-Net as in IEEE GRSL paper "HybridSN: Exploring 3D-2D CNN Feature Hierarchy for Hyperspectral Image Classification".

markov-random-field-project icon markov-random-field-project

This project has two parts. In part one, we use markov random field to denoise an image. In Part two, we use similar model for image segmentation.

natural-farming icon natural-farming

This is a repository created on some experiments on Natural Farming.

pydoe icon pydoe

Design of experiments for Python

pymetric icon pymetric

Python implementation of the METRIC model
