Windows PowerShell 5.1 profile.ps1 cannot be loaded. A required certificate is not within its validity period about powershell HOT 5 CLOSED

The profile.ps1 is not part of the standard OS so looks like it is a file either you or your organisation/company has provided.

Although this repository started as a fork of the Windows PowerShell codebase, changes made in this repository are not automatically ported back to Windows PowerShell 5.1. This also means that issues tracked here are only for PowerShell Core 6 and higher. Windows PowerShell specific issues should be reported with the Feedback Hub app, by choosing "Apps > PowerShell" in the category.

Have you checked the file mentioned in the error message? C:\Windows\System32\WindowsPowerShell\v1.0\profile.ps1
Try removing it, it sounds like there's an issue with the code signing certificate.

After deleting it, PowerShell works as advertised. Thank you!
