ACTION_SEEK_FORWARD_SMALL size about omxplayer HOT 4 CLOSED

You want to change (in omxplayer.cpp)

      case KeyConfig::ACTION_SEEK_BACK_SMALL:
        if(m_omx_reader.CanSeek()) m_incr = -30.0;
        break;
      case KeyConfig::ACTION_SEEK_FORWARD_SMALL:
        if(m_omx_reader.CanSeek()) m_incr = 30.0;
        break;
      case KeyConfig::ACTION_SEEK_FORWARD_LARGE:
        if(m_omx_reader.CanSeek()) m_incr = 600.0;
        break;
      case KeyConfig::ACTION_SEEK_BACK_LARGE:
        if(m_omx_reader.CanSeek()) m_incr = -600.0;
        break;

The default is 30 seconds for small and 10 minutes for big. Change the 30 or 600 values to change the step.

Thats what I did:

I changed all the SEEK values to 1.0 and compiled.
But there must be an issue because it still seeks in much bigger steps of 10 seconds.

You can only seek to the nearest I-frame. Perhaps your file only has I-frames every ten seconds.

Changing the i-frame rate is the solution!
But its not that easy to manage the i-frames on a h.264 .mp4 movie.
