Question: how to overwrite api setState ? about zustand HOT 3 CLOSED

this should work:

const immer = config => (set, get, api) => config(fn => set(produce(fn)), get, api)

const [useStore] = create(immer(setState => ({
  text: "hello",
  setState,
})))

...
setState(state => void state.text = "world")

from zustand.

This will apply immer to set(), but i want to modify api.setState()
I want apply immer when user access store outside Components

api.setState((s) => { s.a = 'b'; })

With your suggestion i have to to something like this:

api.getState().setState((s) => { s.a = 'b'; })

from zustand.

api.setState(produce((s) => { s.a = 'b'; })) should work.
You can also create a function wrapper for it:

const setState = fn => api.setState(produce(fn));
setState((s) => { s.a = 'b'; });
