Hi

I need to check the content of this ticket. Some features are already implemented, and you can already generate changes.

Hi

The version 2.5.0 implements a change target thanks to a contribution. However it needs some more work to integrate in a maintainable way.

Does this mean that we will be able to target something apart from tickets? for example, will it be possible to target new user or computer? so the plugin automatically would create a new glpi user based on answers of a form, and the same thing to register a new device/computer based on answers.

Am I understanding this correctly? because I would love to see this feature implemented.

Profiles, users and groups are now supported in Formcreator 2.13. Entity restriction is however not permitted : it is useless as a form is in an entity already. Closing

Hi, I'm not sure if I'm missing where it is, but I can't find how to target Users. All I see is how to target tickets, problems or changes, all of them in the "Assistance" section, but no option outside that section, like target something inside "Administration" or "Assets".
I'm in the latest GLPI v10.0.7 and Formcreator v2.13.4.

I'm looking for a way to target/create a new user based on the form answers, upon validation, so instead of a new ticket, it would create a new user. And the same idea also to create a new computer in assets, so users can add their new devices to the inventory, upon validation of course.

Is this feature available?

Hi @iPaulis

Formcreator is not designed to create users by filling a form. In my last comment I talked about the ability to restrict access to forms by users or groups. Previously, only profiles were allowed.

It is not planned to extend Formcreator to generate users from a form: this is out of scope of the plugin.

It's a pity, but ok, understood. Thanks.
