I'm unable to reproduce. Which applications cause this?

Again, not able to reproduce. What version of SIMBL are you running?

Also, this message is completely spurious - there is no performance issue.

Any news on this one? It is not really an issue (everything works) yet the 
frequent system logs spam is rather annoying.

10.6.3, SIMBL 0.9.7SL

Same issues for some time now. It seems that the script is trying to inject 
itself into each application that launches. This issue is mentioned in Apple's 
Technote <a 
href="http://developer.apple.com/mac/library/technotes/tn/tn1164.html#MAC_OS_X_V
10_6__SNOW_LEOPARD__AND_LATER__INFO_PLIST-THREADSAFE">TN1164</a> as mentioned 
previously. I am not sure what can  be done about it.

If SIMBL is trying to inject itself into every app, you have a bad plugin. By 
default, SIMBL won't inject itself anywhere.

This is most likely caused by the Afloat SIMBL plugin which adds an extra menu 
to each Cocoa application.
