Which file?

from scripts.

.PlayOnLinux-5/shortcuts/app.description

from scripts.

Can this be read from the .json directly?

from scripts.

qparis avatar qparis commented on August 29, 2024

It could, but the json is parsed on another level (by javascript typically), whereas the description is currently directly part of ShortcutDTO

from scripts.

plata avatar plata commented on August 29, 2024

So we need to set the description twice? Once in the json and once in the script?

from scripts.

qparis avatar qparis commented on August 29, 2024

No you could read the json from the script

from scripts.

But you can also have some programs (like Office) that have many shortcuts for one script

from scripts.

Ah. So it's really a description of the shortcut itself.

from scripts.
