- No, the setting default setting in
experiments/scripts/obj_det_training.pyis not the one we trained thefaster_rcnn_fpn_training_mot_17/model_epoch_27.modelmodel with. Learning rates and drops should be the same but we trained on all MOT17 training sequences. And the model we use is from epoch 27. The code is merely a starting point for your own training. - We fixed a bug in the reID inference code last year which improved overall identity preservation performance by a lot. The original model was trained on MOT17 but the current is only trained on Market1501. But since we fixed the bug the performance is still far better than the old one. For optimal performance a finetuning on MOT17 is probably beneficial.
