What's the version you're using? This problem was solved in the 0.4.0-alfa
(code-refactoring branch.)

2012/12/3 toorpy [email protected]

Create a new table
Add a column and set a comment. The comment has to be set before you click
on Apply for the first time.

Applying makes the following error appears: "The object 'id' (Column) has
inconsistent configuration (invalid SQL/XML definition)!"

Erase the comment, and apply, it works.

Now edit the column you just added, table is not yet created, add a
comment, click on Apply, the software freezes, and you have to force quit.

I previously updated the issue to add version 0.3.4 and 0.4.0.

I look for the related problem in resolved issues but did not find it. Maybe your'e talking about this one #45 but it is really not the same issue.

Is exactly this issue. #45. Also, I've tested again and the error doesn't occurs. Maybe you can attach your model file to be debugged.

It appends with a fresh and new model. Attached a screenshot.

I recompiled the last source code and the bug is still here.
(branch code-refactoring)

How to reproduce:

Start pgModler
Create a new table

  • Set a name
  • Set a schema
  • Add a column
    • Set a Name
    • Set a Comment
    • Click on Apply => "Error: the object 'id' (Column) has
      inconcsistent configuration (invalid SQL/XML definition)!
    • Remove the comment
    • Click on Apply = > OK

Thanks @toorpy for the steps. I've reproduced the error and found the cause.
It only happens when creating column on a new table...

The problem was solved on the above commit.
