Cannot reproduce this:
$ mkdir picotui-test
$ cd picotui-test/
$ python3 -m venv .venv
$ . .venv/bin/activate
$ pip3 install picotui
$ python3
Python 3.6.9 (default, Nov 7 2019, 10:44:02)
[GCC 8.3.0] on linux
Type "help", "copyright", "credits" or "license" for more information.
>>> import picotui
>>>
I.e. no error.
Make sure you always use "pip3" and "python3" commands when you install/run.
If in doubt, do:
git clone https://github.com/pfalcon/picotui
cd picotui
python3 example_widgets.py
Note that picotui requires VT100/XTerm compatible terminal to work, see README.
