Hey, I guess this is a translation mistake. I intended to have this setting to make people with a low data volume beeing able to stop the app from consuming data. Do you have a better suggestion to not confuse people?
Thanks, ph1b

Well, now I'm really confused.]
I thought since
https://github.com/Ph1b/MaterialAudiobookPlayer/releases/tag/1.2.3
"Using mobile network for covers is now opt-in instead of opt-out"
Thus, opt-in was default setting.

So, opt-out is default? Then, this issue is no more. It acts like it's supposed to: opt-out at default: unchecked.

Thus, opt-out is default, please close. Thank you.

The mobile internet (meaning GPRS/3G/LTE etc) should by default not be used. If there is wifi available, this is always being used. If it using of mobile internet is checked, then if mobile internet is the only choice for internet, this is the way to go. Confusion resolved?

My, I feel like a fool. Everything seems to work fine.

This seems a bit over engineered... The amount of data used to run a Google Images search And show some thumbnails is pretty low. How often do users add books on the go? Listening to an audio book takes hours, and books are added from external storage anyway, either in one shot (which suggests the user is likely near Wi-Fi) or one by one when they finish a book (which is rare).
