1.7 crash about travertine HOT 9 CLOSED

is the 1.7 client modded? what server and what version of server and what plugins on the server.

I don't think the client was modded since my server is not but I'm not sure, maybe they had optifine, armor status HUD or stuff like that. My server is running paperspigot 1.7.10 protocolhack and players reported that they don't have the bug anymore if they play on 1.8.

ChatControl has known issues which crash clients. Try without that plugin.

I can't really remove that plugin, it's essential for my server.
The issue happens on bungee side, it's not the spigot server that disconnects them and I only have this issue with Travertine, when I use another fork of bungeecord (with less good performances thought) I don't have the problem.

The issue comes from Travertine, not chatcontrol. With another bungee fork I don't have this problem.

This issue is caused by the plugin ChatControl sending invalid packets. Travertine is disconnecting the player because of these invalid packets. Please ask the author to fix their plugin.

ChatControl (my plugin) is working and has been tested on Spigot, Craftbukkit and PaperSpigot. I believe it's caused by some differences in code in your server.

Would it be possible to get some more information/debug on what's exactly causing the problem? E.g. bad json syntax, etc..
