Just found your blog this morning and have read several of the posts. Really liking them so far. I was going to point out too though that, there IS an nvm for Windows (https://github.com/coreybut.... You mentioned that it wasn't supported by default but, if someone is looking for it, it does exist.

Hi @rainsoft:disqus .
Is this article still relevant to year 2020? Or does it need an update? I see you have great articles on JavaScript and others. I would like to go through each one of them starting from this article way up to the recent. I will also share every article in my twitter account to share your expertise on the language.

Many thanks,
Shashi.

If you want to learn JavaScript solely, you could skip this post because it shows how to install nodejs.

Anyways, it should be relevant in 2020.

Hi Dmitri,

Your blog is the best!

I moved away from NVM because it caused a long delay whenever I started a new Terminal session.

You can either try to defer initializing NVM until you run your first NVM command, or you can try FNM, Fast Node Manager.

It uses the same API and commands as NVM, so it's easy to migrate.
