Hi, great library!
But I think it’s incorrect to use the squared Euclidean optimization since vp trees require a real metric which I think the squared distance is not.
Hi there, indeed. This repo is in fact just a rough pet experiment. There are so many things to fix here. Sorry about that but for now let me remove from public visibility. Is that ok?
I was planning to refactor it and to add some more mathematical analysis comparing vp tress and kd trees theoretically and checking strong/week points of both. But I have not being having enough time!
