With -sseof it throws [h264 @ 0x7faacd80a800] co located POCs unavailable regardless how far from the end you specify. Lame.

Looks like there's no real shortcut to knowing the number of frames in a segment and and then asking for that last frame explicitly. We can figure out the number of frames via ffprobe, but that's an extra step and I'm not sure the extra invocation of a tool is worth the overhead.
