- changed state from "new" to "wontfix"
The approach of using env variables for model selection will change with the switch to Ignition in May 2019. Instead you will be able to use one of robot model that are available on https://www.subtchallenge.world

Now that the ignition and competition framework are stabilizing - it looks like as of early this week we are still configuring agents with environment variables in the environment launch command line rather than launching pre-configured teams using .ign or .launch files that pull models directly from the repo (which seemed to be the intended launch strategy last week). Is this correct?
Some of my original concerns have been addressed, but we would still like clarification on the expected end-stage method for launching teams will be so we can begin preparing team configuration experiments. Thanks.
