uT/OS是**国内最早（2009/10/10发布V1.0）的用于物联网领域的开源RTOS内核之一，是Tenux开源社区（www.tenux.org或www.tenux.cn）的核心开源项目，uT/OS开源嵌入式操作系统内核是商业级质量，支持业界常用的Keil MDK、IAR EWARM、Eclipse/GCC三种开发环境，已经发布的最新版本是V2.0（2014/6/15发布），支持国际C语言安全规范-MISRA C2004、uA级低功耗、0us中断延迟和响应时间、最小1KB内存占用、丰富的实验例程。目前广泛应用在能源、工业、医疗、机器人、智能家居等行业产品中。 随着Cortex M7推出，以及各个厂商的芯片新型号发布和厂商外设库的升级，加上MDK、IAR等开发工具的升级，uT/OS内核也需要进行相应的升级，本项目（计划发布V3.0）就是面向这些需求的。关联项目还包括uT/FatFS文件系统、uT/LWIP轻量型TCPIP协议栈、uT/USB Host/Device/OTG协议栈、uT/emWin图形用户界面、uT/CANOpen等多种开源免费组件。
