BibTeX import problem about orcid-source HOT 6 CLOSED

Hi Vladimir,

I’m not seeing the same error when importing your BibTeX file - everything
seems to be working correctly when I import it via Firefox on MacOS
(screenshot attached). Can you let me know which browser/OS you’re using so
that I can test it out?

I'm trying to import
http://vladimiralexiev.github.io/pubs/Alexiev-bibliography.bib and I get
this error, which is not very informative:
"This file can not be read. Please check the BibTeX format and try again."

What's wrong with the file? I don't want to export out of google scholar
since it doesn't have all my publications.

I’ve tried with Chrome 40.0.2214.45 beta-m and Firefox 30.0 on Windows 7. Same result.

@VladimirAlexiev What's causing the the issue is 'Jun' instead of 'jun' and 'Aug' instead of 'aug'. Where was this bibtex generated from? For now I suggest you hand edit the camel cased months to lower case. We may have to look at rewriting our parser to deal with camel cased months although all references I could find only specify lower case. Good times with bibtex :-)

This issue will be fixed with the first release in the new year. Until then please hand edit months to be lowercase.
