Build problem: How can I specifiy a version during build about icinga2-exporter HOT 4 CLOSED

This is a effect of our build pipeline. Version number is always set by commit tag. If you like to build it your self with some version you can just create the file RELEASE-VERSION and add two rows like:

1.0.0
d5be67f3ed5ecc7e024fbd4db7270a4ca55bc302

First row is the version that you like to call it and the second line is a commit number.
Official builds are in https://github.com/opsdis/icinga2-exporter/releases

Thank you for this information. If you have a release binary would you consider to publish it to the Python package library to allow easier installation with pip?

That would good idea. Should be able to add that to the build pipeline. Currently we use travis-ci.org but we should look into github actions. Its on the todo list :). You are more than welcome to contribute if you have the time.
