Sorry for lack of documentation here - currently the certificate needs to be base64 encoded and a single line.

Thanks for your answer. So the second variable way should be working, right ? I tried with and with double quotes, the certificate still is empty on pfSense.

No, you need something like the output from:

cat mycert.crt | base64 -w0

It will start with LS0

At some point I hope to handle this in the module.
