Here's an update on this one.
I tested it with the netdiff patch: openwisp/netdiff#88
Here's what I found that needs to be fixed:
- 1 test fails
- node and link properties that have changed are not updated
- node and links which have new properties do not show this
Regarding the case when information is removed from the graph:
we should not remove information right now, only update information that has changed or add new properties, because nodes or links may have information that is added via other means and when compared with the topology from the networking software it may seem it has been removed.
